Athens Python Users Meetup

On Wednesday, March 26th at 19:00, you are invited to join us for the first Athens Python Meetup of the year, at the Yodeck offices in Omonia (2nd floor).

Our speaker, Paris Kolios, will present on the topic:

“Things That Fit in a Single File (But Probably Shouldn’t)”

In this talk, Paris will demonstrate a minimal single-file Django application using NanoDjango, UV, HTMX, and htpy. The focus will be on quickly building proof-of-concept applications that require minimal setup while maintaining a functional and presentable user interface.

As always, following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to engage in the customary networking session!

Peri Ghika

Pericles Nicolaos Ghikas (Peri Ghika) was born and raised in an agricultural family at the village of Kriekouki, in rural Attica, Greece. He later moved with his family to Keratsini, where he finished his secondary education. In 1997 he was admitted to the Computer Science Department of the University of Crete. In 2000 he joined Virtual Trip Ltd, Greece's first student startup, as an intern. He left the company in December 2011 as a senior software engineer, having in the meantime dropped out of his studies. Having been infected by the entrepreneurship virus, Peri joined Starttech Ventures in January 2012 and works there since then; he has evolved to a senior venture partner, working both on the venture building and seed investments pillars of the organization.
