The “40 under 40” programme is implemented by “EuropaNova” and “Friends of Europe”. It aims to bring together some of the most talented individuals from across the continent. People who are capable of forging the type of collective vision for Europe. One that is currently missing. They are asked to reflect upon the major problems confronting the continent. And to generate innovative ideas that can provide lasting solutions.

Each year, forty young leaders from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds are invited to participate in two three-day seminars. Most importantly, they become ambassadors for a new vision. One which can counter the re-emergence of nationalist tendencies. And, of course, provide the inspiration for a European renewal.
